Ah yes, Coachella 2022, how could I forget? I had just finished a sold out stadium tour in the states and I was on top of the world. My album No Rest for the Wickedly Awesome was #1 on the Billboard 200 last week and my single Who Needs a Song Title When You’re this Awe$ome” was being streamed millions of times a day. I had just arrived at my mansion when my assistant informed that the CEO of Coachella wants me to perform at the next festival; Of course I say yes.
The day of the concert and I’m not the least bit nervous. I’m dressed in my show clothes, khaki pants and a black and white t-shirt with the smiley face picture that’s on my latest album.
I chug a La Croix and run out on stage as my first song starts playing. It goes as awesome as you’d expect. There is no better feeling than singing your lyrics, while the crowd sings them back at you. I hope they invite me back next year!
